Noosa Romance {Tammy & Paul}

Noosa is definitely a popular destination for our international guests. Tammy & Paul have come all the way from Boston USA for a truly intimate occasion with their family and friends. The ceremony was held at  Maison La Plage Grove overlooking Noosa Main Beach. First Class Functions provided a lovely bamboo beach canopy for the service and whilst guests enjoyed the surroundings and the occasional inquisitive bush turkey, Tammy & Paul had their first romantic stroll as husband and wife along the shoreline of Noosa Main Beach.

Beachfront Wedding {Courtney & Ben}

Courtney & Ben travelled all the way from Vancouver Canada to have their dream wedding in Oz. Sunshine Beach SLSC Noosa was the perfect venue for their dream day, green lawns, pandanus tree’s overlooking the beach with whales breaching in the background nearly stole the show.

Hamilton Island Bliss {Ang & Ric}

When Ang & Ric asked me to quote their wedding day in Hamilton Island, I had my fingers crossed, hoping, pick me, pick me!  Wow, what a magnificent location for a wedding, beautiful gardens, beaches, the marina, palm trees, golf buggy’s which I had so much fun driving around sourcing locations. Ang your dress was just stunning, your sister is very talented. Thank you for choosing me to photograph your special day. Hope to see you Ric and the kids in the near future. Enoy!

Ang’s Story:   After 7 amazing years, 3 children the day had finally arrived and what better than a beautiful 26 degree day on the most amazing destination I have ever been to, Hamilton Island.

Getting Ready – The excitement started to build and Ricky kept calling me every 10 minutes, for the smallest most unimportant things, and I knew he was nervously excited too. I slipped into my fairytale dress which my sister had made with the help of my mum. The dress exceeded my expectations and looked just like I had picked it out of a boutique.

The Ceremony – As I arrived to the ceremony the tears started to well in my eyes and the anticipation was over, and emotions took its place. We had the most amazing, relaxed ceremony with lots of love, laughter and tears and just the closest people to us attending, which made it even the more special.

Bridal Photos – As we took off and left the guests to have a drink, we went up to one tree hill for some photo’s which was a highlight for me, it was sooo beautiful up there and we felt like movie stars getting our pictures taken with the JAG and the onlookers commenting at how beautiful we looked.Standing on the rock in the wind looking out at nothing else but the view was exhilarating and I felt so relaxed and free.

Reception – Our reception out on the deck of the restaurant overlooking the pool and beach was lit up with fairy lights, tea light candles and decorated lightly in flowers which created an amazing ambiance. It was exactly what I envisioned, and the bridal waltz on the beach with the sand in-between my toes, was just something I will never forget.

Throughout the whole process Bella and her team was excellent, from helping me pick out locations for photos to helping me set up my reception and even buying me a cocktail to end the day, thanks Bella for your helping make my day run smoothly.

MALENY MANOR {SOPHIE & MATT}

Sophie & Matt had a very romantic setting for their wedding day, the rolling hills of Maleny at the awarding winning venue Maleny Manor. The Bridal Party relaxed in the surroundings whilst playing a little ‘Bocce’ with one groomsman unleashing his hidden talent of juggling, made for a great photo. It was so lovely of Marleen from the Maleny Manor to lend Sophie those cute pink gumboots for a shot in the long grass with her stunning dress. Enjoy!
